Nutrition values are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.HolyCal may cache food results locally on your device for faster reuse.4. CameraHolyCal uses the camera only for barcode scanning.The camera feed is processed on device to detect barcode values. HolyCal does not store photos or videos from the barcode scanner.Detected barcode numbers may be used for food lookup as described above.5. NotificationsIf you allow notifications, HolyCal may schedule local reminders for:- Meals

- DevotionalsNotification schedules are stored locally and are not sent to a HolyCal server in this release.6. Subscriptions and PurchasesHolyCal Premium subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit.Apple manages:- Payment processing

- Family Sharing, where availableHolyCal stores local subscription status, product identifier, renewal date when available, and last entitlement refresh date so the app can unlock Premium features.HolyCal does not receive your payment card details.7. Sign in with AppleIf you use Sign in with Apple, Apple handles authentication. HolyCal may store the Apple-provided user identifier and display name locally on your device so the app can recognize your local profile.8. Nutrition values are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.Food search and barcode lookup may send search text or barcode numbers to configured food data providers, such as FatSecret, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, or a HolyCal food database proxy, only to return nutrition results. Results may be cached locally for faster reuse.CameraHolyCal uses the camera only to scan food barcodes when you choose to use the barcode scanner. HolyCal does not store photos or videos from the scanner. Detected barcode numbers may be used for nutrition lookup.NotificationsIf you allow notifications, HolyCal schedules local reminders for meals, water, fasting, weigh-ins, and devotionals. Notification schedules are not sent to a HolyCal server in this release.SubscriptionsHolyCal Premium subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple manages billing, refunds, cancellations, renewals, and App Store subscription records.HolyCal stores local subscription status, product identifier, renewal date when available, and last entitlement refresh date so the app can determine Premium access.Tracking and AdvertisingHolyCal does not use your data for tracking, targeted advertising, advertising measurement, data brokers, or third-party advertising.Data Linked to YouIn this release, HolyCal does not send your profile, Apple Health data, prayer entries, devotional records, fasting entries, food logs, weight entries, water entries, or saved meal records to a HolyCal account server.Data Not Linked to YouFood search terms and barcode numbers may be sent to food data providers only to return nutrition results. Depending on provider behavior, these requests may be treated as search history used for app functionality.Account Deletion and Data ExportYou can export a JSON copy of your HolyCal records from the Data Management screen. You can also delete local account data from the app.Deleting local account data removes local profile data, logs, saved foods, devotional data, fasting history, prayer entries, meal plans, subscription state, and onboarding state from this device. It does not cancel App Store subscriptions or delete Apple billing records. Those are managed by Apple.Children’s PrivacyHolyCal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.Medical DisclaimerHolyCal provides faith-based encouragement and educational nutrition tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical care.
